The Department of Residential Life and the College of Science invite students to apply for the Science Residential College (SRC).
The Science Residential College, or SRC, provides an on-campus living experience tailor made to give science majors an enriching educational experience. This living-learning community is ideal for first-year science majors. The SRC helps them adjust to the rigors of college-level science and math courses all while living and studying alongside students with similar interests. SRC students are more successful in introductory biology and chemistry courses, completing these courses at a higher rate than their peers.
The SRC offers co-ed housing located at the heart of campus near the LSU science complex, Student Union, 459 Commons Dining, Barnes and Noble Bookstore, and University Recreation Center.
Like all LSU residential colleges, the SRC is open to both male and female students who meet the program requirements.
