As
the chief fiscal officer
for the College of Basic Sciences, Ms.
Marchiafava manages the business affairs for the College
and is operations manager in the Dean's Office. She
is responsible for managing all personnel and financial
matters including the Machine
Run Budget (MRB), salary savings, external funding,
and travel for the entire College ensuring
that all state, University, and College policies and
procedures are followed. In addition, she is the College's
key contact for promotion and tenure and sabbatical
