How to Give

Thank you for your interest in supporting the LSU College of Science.  A significant measure of a great university is the support it receives from its alumni. Your donation helps assure that our students and faculty continue to compete successfully with the finest scholars in the world.  As the prestige of LSU and the College of Science continues to grow, so does the value of your degree.


Regardless of the amount, we deeply appreciate your support. All donations are tax deductible and qualify for Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) points. Join us as we work on the leading edge of discovery and innovation to educate the next generation of scientists.

• Gifts of Stock, Securities or Property

By making a donation of appreciated stock, securities or property, you may avoid a capital gains tax and take a charitable deduction all while supporting the College.  For more information, click HERE


• Planned Giving Options

• Gifts In-Kind

Donations to the College can sometimes be made in the form of tangible personal property or equipment. 


• Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees.  To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, contact its human resources department or visit www.matchinggift.com/lsu/ and type in your company’s name.  Retired employees and employees’ spouses may also be eligible for matching programs.
